In the mood for vegetarian Chinese food? Just like you, we have our favorite. It's cheaper specially if you hit an 'All-you-can-eat' buffet joint. It's also exciting to read those fortune cookies sayings at the end.
Chinese vegetarian food is no doubt affordable.
That's specially true if you go to a Chinese buffet or a Mom and Pop joint in your local neighborhood. They usually serve classic Chinese dish and you get a fortune cookie at the end.
Chinese food is no doubt delicious as well, just like any other Asian food that been cooked in a wok.Vegetarian Chinese Food is the best thing that ever happened in A Wok! Oh yeah!
My ultimate Chinese vegetarian food list includes veggie Lo-mein, stir-fried Chinese vegetables, garlicky stir-fried green beans, garlic eggplants and aged Tofu with all sorts of veggies in Cha-Cha sauce.
Check out these Chinese Fortune cookie sayings:
"A diet is a selection of food that makes someone rich."
Hmm. Is that a fortune?
"It is not only important to add years to your life, but to add life to your years."
Do you agree?
"Life always gets harder near the summit."
It's very true. Keep at it. When you eat healthy, you become healthy.
"Your future will be happy and productive."
Now that's a fortune! Mark that one.
"Difficulty at the beginning usually means ease at the end."
That goes with going vegetarian. You won't miss the meat, promise.
"Even Popeye didn't eat his spinach until he had to."
But you have never seen Popeye eat a can of meat before beating Bluto's arse, did you?
"Good health will be yours for a long time."
We're guessing that practicing a vegetarian lifestyle will lead you to this fortune.
In New York, there are so many Chinese restaurants anywhere you go. It's a big city. Surprisingly, while we were on the road moving from New York to South Florida, we were surprised how small their egg rolls were once we passed the Carolinas.
Don't ask me why. I just don't know.
The size of the egg rolls may vary from state to state here in the US, but we still love it no matter what size they are. It's like the Filipino vegetable lumpia, Chinese style.
Chinese vegetarian food rocks. Thank you for invading the U.S.. Not only that they are cheap affordable meals, the fun is in the cookie. At least I think so.
But that's just me. How about you?
