So what is the best juicer?

Choosing a juicer or blender can be confusing. So here are some reviews to help you decide what is the best juicer for you.

What is the best juicer?  Well, choosing the right juicer is like choosing an outfit to wear. You wear something that fits the occasion. So you can choose a juice extractor that fits you need.

The fruit and vegetable juicer by Omega Juicers is what I use for most of my juicing needs. You can get it here on Amazon: The Omega Nutrition Center Juicer. This thing is serious in the kitchen when it comes to juicing.

If you come knocking to ask me what is the best juicer out there, I'd say that both the masticating and citrus juicers. For citrus juicing, I use the affordable-get-the-job-done-right citrus juice extractor.

By experience, I cannot live without my citrus type juicer. I have the manual citrus press and the electric type. They're both wonderful.

I love my orange juice specially when oranges are in season. I have to drink fresh OJ every morning, so both the electric and manual citrus press are my pick.

For vegetables and hard fruits, I am loving my masticating Omega 8006. It gets the job done perfectly spitting out pulp so dry that even the rabbits won't eat the carrot pulp that came out of my Omega 8006.

Affordable Cheap Juicers

This is exactly what I use. This is a lifesaver in the morning when you are craving for that fresh glass of OJ or grapefruit juice! You can get it on Amazon really cheap. This is The Cuisinart CCJ-500 Pulp Control Citrus Juicer, Brushed Stainless and really efficient plus very affordable. Get it on Amazon.

Check out how it works!

If you are asking yourself what is the best juicer out there, you can go and read tons of reviews for each of them on Amazon.

Breville juicer is one tough masticating juicer. Check out this brand on Amazon: The Breville Juice Fountain Juicer.

Example of a Centrifugal Juicer

Pros:

  • Affordable juicers.
  • It's great for devouring a whole apple without cutting them in pieces.
  • It's quick and gets the job done quickly.

Disadvantage:

  • Not as efficient as masticating juicers in juicing leafy greens.
  • Loud
  • The shelf-life of the juice is short.

Centrifugal juicers such as the Breville Juice Fountain are more affordable and can juice fruits and vegetables very easily and quickly.  Some folks like the speed and ease using it when you're in a hurry. The wide chute is good because you can just drop a whole apple in it and it devours it.

However, its difficult to effectively extract juices from leafy greens like spinach, lettuce, kale  & etc.. Centrifugal juicers will extract some juices from these greens, but far less than single or twin gear juicers.

The disadvantage is in the quality and shelf life of the juice. Centrifugals run in high rpms that the juices get heated so the enzymes and phyto-nutrients in the juice are short-lived. You have to consume the juices right away.

This baby is my friend in the kitchen.

Pros:

  • Efficient in leafy greens
  • Easy clean-up
  • Shelf life of the juice is longer.
  • Quiet operation

Cons:

  • Fruits and vegetables must be cut-up to fit the 1 1/2" chute.
  •
It is a great investment in the kitchen.
Of all the juicers, the Omega 8000 series is my favorite. Check out The Omega 8006 Juicer Nutrition Center by Omega Juicers It comes with Accessory Pack plus Folding Drain Rack, Nut Milk Bag, Juicing eBook, recipes, Cocodrill Coconut Tool and Citrus Peeler. This is the Nutrition Center available on Amazon.

The Omega 8000 series masticating juicer is my ultimate favorite.

This thing has a single auger that masticates leafy greens perfectly leaving the pulp bone dry. You can store the juices for up to 12 hours without compromising the quality of the juice. This is the hits. Gotta love it. You'll use it everyday because of its very quiet operation.

Omega 8006 comes with all the attachments to make frozen dessert, sorbet, ice cream, and it can even make pasta and grind nuts in mere seconds!

So, what is the best juicer for those who want an all-in-one type of appliance? Juicing without a juicer is possible with the VitaMix.

Well, look no further than the Vitamix blender for that need.

The blender can be a juicing tool as well with all the beneficial pulp in the juice. The amazing Vitamix 7500 Blender in Red. This gets used and abused in the kitchen and a favorite small appliance.

Ah, I keep asking myself why I didn't buy this long ago when my kids were little. This makes baby food instantly fresh and nutritious.

This thing is a monster that can literally pulverize a wooden block. You can make an icy delicious smoothie in 30 seconds flat. Vitamix Turboblend is the big bad thing in blenders!

Vitamix comes with a 7 year warranty when you buy it. Need more Vitamix Reviews? Read all about it HERE
