You know strawberries and bananas are a match made in heaven. Put peanut butter in the mix and it's a kid's favorite healthy dessert! Make this often when strawberries are in abundance.

Here's what you'll need:

  • 1 pint or a large container of strawberries. About a dozen big ones will do great.
  • Some creamy peanut butter - Use peanut butter that only list "peanuts" as ingredient. Most of the processed peanut butter have sugar and salt added.
  • Ripe banana
  • a couple of blueberries for the eyes

Slice the strawberries in half and set aside. Make sure you trim off the greens. Save a couple of the greens to decorate the mouth of the snakeberry.

Slice the banana in half and lay it flat on a platter or large dish of your choice. The curvier the banana the better.

Spread a good amount of peanut butter on top of the banana. This will be your edible yummy glue for the strawberries.

Now, carefully arrange the strawberries slices on top of the banana as pictured above. They should stick together perfectly in place.

When you're happy with it, put two blueberries on it for the eyes. It should have a little tongue so take one of those green things you trimmed off and decorate it.

Grab a camera... Take a picture of it... and with the kids... and you too!

Devour!
