Favorite Papaya Dessert Recipe
- Organic ripe papaya
- Frozen banana partially thawed
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh coconut milk (you can use coconut cream as well for creaminess)
- additional sweetener such as maple syrup, honey or Agave nectar to taste.
- Optional for non-vegans: If you use milk, you can add condensed milk to it and some heavy cream if you want.
Put all the ingredients in your Favorite Food Processor
and run it until smooth.
Note: If you want this ice cream really sweet, you can add more sweetener of your choice as you process the mixture. Taste as you go.
Otherwise, if you are diabetic, be careful with the sugar content because papayas are naturally sweet.
Once smooth, transfer the mixture to a container and freeze until just solid enough so you can scoop it soft-serve style.
