There are days when you just need a mean green juice recipe for a mean day. A day when things are just intolerable to say the least. You know, the days when stress just follows you wherever you go... Stress is toxic. You don't need it in your life.

Mean Green Juice Recipe - for those days when your nerves could seriously use a drink! Seriously. Wanna be healthy? You need this everyday of your life.

Those are the days when irate disgruntled people bark at you. You don't do nothing, or say nothing... they just bark for no reason. People bite. What's up with that? Ha-ha.

This mean green juice will seriously knock all the crappy feeling away giving you the 'who gives' attitude. Love yourself with a sweet green juice.

Gone are the days when I let headache provoking things engulfed me. Not anymore. I've matured. I juice. Ha! All I need is a mean green juice to make my day all better. So, drink up the good stuff! This healthy juice recipe is 'it'.

This green juice has dandelion leaves in it. A Chinese medical practitioner gave me this info long ago. He said dandelions are healing and it cleanses the liver. It's great for detoxification and all.

They're a bit bitter if you cook them alone, but if you juice them with fruits, you will not even taste the bitterness. You'll have a delicious, healing and very energizing drink. 

Amazing Green Juice Ingredients

Ingredients are what you see:

  • 2 cups Green Grapes
  • 1/2 Pineapple Slices
  • 2 Apples
  • A bunch of Dandelions stems & leaves
  • 1 inch of ginger (not shown)
  • 3 stalks Celery
  • 2 Cucumbers  
  • Juice them all together and put them in a glass.
  • Drink.
  • Feed the nerves. 

Refreshing. Energizing. You don't need that Tylenol for that headache you're experiencing. It's temporary. People will stop barking eventually. Ha-ha.

Dandelion leaves are widely available in supermarkets these days. It's not weed. It's a medicinal plant. Juicing them with other fruits that you like makes it more palatable and sweet. Because of its therapeutic properties, this plant should be called healing herbs.

Dandelions are abundant in the Spring season. You can go foraging for it in your backyard and you'll see them with those beautiful yellow flowers which by the way are all edible as well.

The whole plant is actually edible and it has potent medicinal properties. It's a little bitter when juiced but that's not a biggie. Just add sweet fruits to it like pineapples, apples or whatever fruit you have.

P.S. you can also cook dandelion leaves just like kale or spinach. Saute them in garlic and oil and squirt some lemon juice on them. They're super nutritious and they're free! Never ever say they're weeds. They're superfoods!
