Let's blow the whistle on the regular commercial eggnog. Psst... it is loaded with yucky raw eggs that's brow-raising!
If you are afraid of cholesterol, then you shouldn't settle for the store-bought ones. Why eat more cholesterol when you already have more than enough of it in your body?
Try this delicious eggless eggnog instead. Relax, sit back and sip away.
This is a feel-good recipe for your holiday raw food diet list.
Any day beverage with stuffed dates.
- 1 cup soaked almonds (soaked overnight or about 8 hours)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 frozen banana
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- 6 to 8 pitted dates
Soak the almonds for at least 8 hours. Over night is best. Soak the dates too for about a couple of hours.
If you have a high speed blender like a Vitamix or Blendtec, the dates will get pulverized. But for a regular blender, you may soak your dates a little longer.
Throw in all the ingredients in the blender until they're all mixed and processed.
Pour in a glass and sprinkle a powder of nutmeg or cinnamon on top. Sit back, relax and no need to sip slowly. Enjoy.
Light yet still creamy. It's sweet but not too sweet like the those other fat laden sugar bombs we normally consume around the holidays.
This beverage is a feel-good treat you can make using absolutely no eggs. You can just chug down a tall glass of this eggless nog and you wouldn't feel like you've committed a sin.
If you are one of those conscious eaters who wants to know what's in the food you're eating, the thought of chugging down that commercial eggnog full of raw eggs is totally gross.
For a raw dessert recipe, try the frozen fruit pie and indulge without guilt. Nothing says Happy Holidays than a colorful healthy raw food dessert to go with the nog!
Indulging during the holidays these days is almost synonymous to committing the biggest sin for your body.
Almost all commercial foods are loaded with corn syrup and chemical additives that are really scary.
No more animal breast milk. Nut milks from organic natural nuts are a good and healthier alternative to nipple milk. Let's leave the animal's milk for the baby animals.
