So, here's an easy breakfast smoothie recipe I made to start my morning:

  • 5-6 Dates
  • 4 frozen bananas
  • a handful of frozen blueberries
  • a handful of frozen strawberries
  • 1 tbp peanut butter
  • 1 cup frozen cherries
  • 1/2 beet root (for a beautiful crimson color)
  • 2 cups left-over fresh juice (or water) to get the blender started
  • Optional - black sesame seeds known to promote healthy hair.

Just blend away. The frozen ingredients make this smoothie nice and thick resembling a soft-serve ice cream. You can have your dessert for breakfast. 

Thick, frothy, sweet, delicious and filling. Satisfaction is guaranteed and the fullness will last you until noon. 

Breakfast smoothies are very easy to assemble. You can mix any type of fruit or even vegetables that you like in a high speed blender and blend away. You'll have a delicious dessert in 30 seconds flat.

Tip - How to make fruit smoothies:

Freezing some fruits and vegetables when they are in season is a way to save money on produce for your everyday breakfast smoothies. It's best to buy fruits and vegetables that are in season as they are best tasting. Strawberries and bananas are favorites. Use frozen strawberries instead of ice and you'll get a really icy frothy mix similar to ice cream soft serve.

A morning smoothie is not only quick and convenient but it's super delicious, incredibly nutritious loaded with so much nutrients and really easy to make. Plus, the only appliance you'll need to wash is your blender. No baked-on pots and pans to scrub. We all love that!
