Avocado Dip Recipe - The guacamole alternative.

If you're not a fan of guacamole, then hear out this avocado dip recipe. But if you are a 'guac' lover, you might want to have this avocado dip too!

Here's an avocado dip recipe for you avocado lovers out there. Get your healthy fats, make some dip and get dippin'.

Avocados contain all the healthy fats necessary for the human body to function and be in tip top condition.

Those healthy fats are found in nuts, seeds and yes, these avocados! The most commonly made dish from this fruit is the ever popular guacamole. If you love this fruit, try to make this dip as well.

Though, some people love 'guacs' and some are not a fan of it. So here's a different version of that avocado dip for you. This can be an alternative to a hummus dip as well.

This dip calls for just a handful ingredients. So you can just have a couple of avocado and blend them with your favorite herbs and you got your dip that can be used for your veggies or your tortilla chips.

So here's the dip recipe for you:

Creamy organic avocado
  • a couple of ripe avocados, any type of avocados will do.
  • salt to taste
  • juice of 1 lemon or lime
  • garlic powder or (1 clove garlic)
  • basil, parsley, dill or cilantro (whichever you prefer)

Cut the avocados in half, take out the seeds and scoop out the flesh and into the blender they go.

Add salt to taste.

Add the lemon or lime juice and the garlic.

Add your favorite green herb. You can use whatever you like such as mint, parsley, cilantro or basil leaves.

Give it a whirl whipping all the ingredients up using your Favorite High Speed Blender.

When it's nice and smooth, transfer to a bowl and get dipping!

After all, it's an avocado dip so it deserves a pretty presentation!

This avocado dip is perfect for dipping tortilla chips, vegetables and even homemade fries!

We tried this dip with pieces of warm Indian Naan and this was delicious!
